RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Regularly review and, where necessary, promote the amendment of Credit Policy to ensure that it is appropriate for its operations and their inherent risks.
- Setting up and maintaining internal procedures for risk management workflow in the key areas of control;
- Independent tracking of scoring performance, monitoring and reporting portfolio quality trends; supporting and advising on development of new retail credit policy, credit products, scoring systems and credit scorecards, provisions
- To achieve a proper management of risks through analyzing the credit process, ensuring of a uniform and objective assessment basis for loan decisions, proposing solution for diminishing the risks and providing credit decision / submitting for approval to upper authority level if the case.
- Applying of credit policies, processes and instruments (scoring) defined by the credit manuals, norms and procedures issued based on the Group standards with the participation of the Bank;
- Oversee annual review of credit activities.
- Approving/ rejecting / submitting to upper authority level the incoming annual review credit applications; Identifying major risks in the transaction proposed and structuring it accordingly;
- Participating on the training of the staff involved in the lending activity
- Oversee collection efforts to assure that loan delinquency and loan losses are minimized and recoveries are maximized.
- Developed and implemented fraud prevention systems
- Identified needs, developed proposals, and implemented projects to design and develop new financial models to evaluate and minimize portfolio credit risk.
- Provides assistance as needed, including assistance in communicating loan policies and documenting and tracking exceptions to policies.
- Manages the day to day activities of the Credit risk department. Provides leadership, direction and growth opportunities to members of the department, performing those responsibilities in accordance with our policies and applicable laws.
- Responsible for interviewing, hiring, planning, assigning or directing work, appraising performance, disciplining employees and addressing complaints and resolving problems.
- Performs other related duties as required
Cerinte:
DESIRABLE EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/SKILLS
- Five years banking experience with a thorough knowledge of the laws and regulations from regulatory agencies.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, or Finance or related experience.
- Excellent communication skills and attitude necessary to establish and maintain positive working relationships with all management and personnel.
- Ability to communicate effectively through presentations and individual discussions with managers and employees.
- Strong organizational skills needed to handle the coordination of multiple priorities.
- Independent judgment with strong analytical and risk assessment skills.
- A wide degree of creativity and latitude.
- Very good command of English
- Good computer skills
