full time Senior Internal Auditor - Fraud Prevention and Detection Division

Descrierea postului:

  • Assists division’s management in the risk assessment process; conducts special fraud detection or investigation assignments, or any other non-recurring audits;
  • Conducts the planning stage of the assigned audit engagements;
  • Coordinates and supervises the fieldwork;
  • Understands and follows in detail the audit process, its structure and key requirements;
  • Reports on regular basis regarding the progress of the audit engagements assigned;
  • Prepares special reports clearly presenting the conclusions and results of the investigative work, underlining identified issues and recommending solutions for risk mitigation and internal controls’ improvement;
  • Ensures that the internal audit activity maintains its independence and objectivity;
  • Supports development and improvement of audit methodology and tools;
  • Coordinates the follow up process and strive for positive management commitment to the audit recommendations;
  • Assists division’s management in preparing reports for and participating to the Audit Committee, Ethics Committee etc.

Cerinte:

  • University graduate (BS in Cybernetics, Statistics, Accounting & Banking, Psychology would be preferred);
  • ACCA / CIA / CFE certification would be considered a plus (graduate or in progress);
  • Minimum 3 years experience in audit field or a combination of banking and audit;
  • Relevant experience in fraud detection & investigation area would be an asset;
  • Very good IT skills, familiar with data analysis tools and techniques (Excel, ACL, etc.);
  • Good understanding of operational processes and IS;
  • Excellent risk identification and assessment abilities;
  • Proven analytical and numerate abilities;
  • Good synthesizing skills in elaborating reports;
  • Strong relating abilities with both internal clients and team members;
  • Ability to work independently and balance multiple projects and processes simultaneously;
  • Efficient time budget management;
  • Interest and motivation for continuous professional development;
  • Very good English command, especially in writing;
  • Excellent communication skills, high ethical standards of honesty, objectivity, due diligence and loyalty.
